You can Join The Band, too!
(but don't quit your day job!)

The Merrymeeting Community Band welcomes new members from any local community. Our minimum requirements are that you can read music, have your own instrument, and have a basic proficiency as a player, regardless of your age. Even if you haven't played in years, it won't take long to get your chops back in shape once you start practicing again.

To join the band, please contact Margie Landis, the conductor and music director, with your contact information (email and snail mail), instrument, previous band experience. Band members pay a annual registration fee of $5 and are required to purchase the illustrious "Merrymeeting Community Band - Don't Quit Your Day Job!" t-shirt as the official uniform ($10).
