Here are a couple of pictures taken to clarify discussions on the Sailnet Morgan Discussion List.
This is the shot of my foredeck. I gather most of the hardware is NOT original. I still haven't figured out what some of the items, like the extra set of stanchion bases, are for. You can also see where several other pieces of equipment were removed. The fore-hatch is missing a corner. It's on the "fix me" list.

Thus is the shot of the M28 with the bow roller. This is NOT my boat!!! It appears to be a 1/4" plate in place of the bow casting, and the forestay seems to be missing. It's certainly an odd installation. I couldn't get a shot from the broker showing the deck side of the installation. This same boat also had an outboard, with the throttle on the cabin roof and cast aluminum dinghy davits!!
This shot is of the space under the cockpit. You are looking aft from over the back of the settee on the port side. It shows my Spring of 2004 project ... a custom 18 gallon aluminum gas tank to replace the original Monel tank removed by a prior owner. The original mounts are still visible hanging from the cockpit floor. I left them in place as reinforcement for the cockpit.
Note that the same prior owner also removed the entire side of the storage compartment for engine/tank access. The panel re-mounts when required. I'll hit the 'glass with a degreaser when I finish more of the maintenance.

This is a picture facing forward from inside the lazarette. It shows the emergency bilge pump and the primary fuel filter. The upper gas line goes to the outboard. The lower goes to the inboard. I included this shot because I'm inordinately proud of my idea to put the fuel filter and shut-off where it could be easily reached and serviced.

New control panel, with additional gauges and hook-up for autopilot (yes, there is a missing screw in this shot - I'm replacing it).
