10-4-2007 - I finally found a 1960-1966 truck in a local Swap or Sell it guide (Uncle Henry’s).

10-11-2007 – I drive 2 hours north to look this truck over. I think I was too excited to really see the work that it needed when I bought it. ☺

Clearly, it doesn’t have the true 1961 hood….

10-13-2007 – The seller delivers it to my house and this is where the quest begins!!!

A very tired 307 was resting between the frame rails….	The hood spring brackets are rusted through on both sides.
This is the drivers side front cab mount that needed replacing.
I’m sure this dash has seen many radios over the past 40+ years….
It’s unlikely that I’ll be able to salvage the CHEVROLET badge with my limited skills!
