My (and the Materos') long time friend (and my family member - he's Doreen's cousin.  It's complicated.) Ken Fournier returned to Maine for the first time in a couple of years to attend our Oxford Hills High School class of 1983 20th reunion in Norway.  On August 22, Kenny, David, Tim and I played a round of golf at Bath Country Club.  Kenny brought his "C" game, but still managed to shoot a 91 on a course he's never seen.  He also whined about the heat, despite having lived in Arizona for about 20 years.  I (Joe) surprised all by making birdie on three of the first five holes.  I still managed to play that into a 91 (with a triple on #18 to boot!).  David and Tim played their usual steady games.  Here are a few pictures

Everybody hit the green on #13.  That's Ken's hat standing in for him while he takes the picture.  I don't remember ever being in a foursome where we were all on the green in one - primarily because I don't hit all that many greens. (L-R Tim, David, Ken's hat, Joe)

Tim, Ken and Joe were almost exactly lined up.  If I made a bigger scan, you'd see all the ball marks about 2" from our balls.  (It's only 111 yds from the tee).  Tim's is evident.

Birdie!  I'd like to say we all made our birdie putts.  But my mom told me that lying is bad.  Ken saved face for the foursome, while the rest of us made par.

Tim tees off on #17.  You can see his ball flying away.  Ken and David look on.  David is wearing his "Grand Canyon" hat.  Thankfully we were spared having him wear socks on his hands.

David, Ken and Joe, before Ken and Joe head off to the reunion.  David is just a young 'un, class of 1984, so he couldn't go.  Either that, or he didn't want to be seen with Kenny's shirt!

Doreen, Kenny and Joe.  For some reason I look grumpy here.  Skinny, too.
